In his Debut solo show with S16 Gallery, Seán invites the viewer to experience a new body of work in which he re-contextualises the use of typographic forms through compositional changes, Light and Colour all informed by his Three dimensional artwork. In this exhibition, Sean has used the three dimensional letterforms as tools for change in aesthetic form or appearance.

Sean credits his upbringing painting graffiti for his artistic practice as opposed to formal academic training. Having established himself within the Irish Graffiti scene at a young age, Sean later found himself drawn to the appearance and arrangement of Typographic design. The correlation between the two gave new meaning to his Graffiti when applying his learnings of typographic layout and use of grid systems.This practice led him to develop his own visual language rooted within the studio. 

Sean is particularly interested and inspired by the perpetual development of Form as a concept. The idea that there is no limit to the ways we analyse, create and interpret artwork is a driving force for Sean.This has a profound influence on different aspects of his daily life and the disciplines associated with his developments within the studio.
